Periodical Exam ^^

Wuhuu periodical exam :3 We took it on the 1st and 2nd day of August, 2013. I was really not ready to took exams that time because you know, it's too early -,- Nevertheless, it's already finished ^^

I find our exam easy and hard (huh? o_o) Easy because it's multiple choice :D (as always -_-) and I know the questions in the questionaire. Hard because of the questions that I am not familiar and I forgotten. I'm not saying that I'm intelligent but I am not the kind of person who is always scanning and reviewing notes whenever there's an exam.

Hoping that I will get passing scores for all the subjects. But if I failed, hmm.. it's my mistake, I know :(( There's always a second chance for everyone ^___^ Study harder :)))

Upper Level Spelling Inventory

We had an activity called "Upper Level Spelling Inventory" It's about spelling. I got 27 words spelled correctly out of 31 words ^^ I find it easy because the words are just simple like switch, confidence, chlorine, village etc. Our teacher gave a sheet of paper which we filled up is a guide for the words we had spelled.

 

• What are the strengths and weaknesses of this work?

The strengths of this work are: I finished this activity. I got many correct spelled words. The weaknesses are: I got wrong spelled words but only few. I didn't hear clear enough few words that's why I spelled it wrong.

• What would you work on more if you have additional time?

I will search few words in the dictionary and look for their right spelling.

Skimming and Scanning

We had an activity entitled "Skimming and Scanning" Skimming is a method of rapidly moving your eyes to get only the main ideas and an overview of the content while scanning rapidly covers a great deal of material in order to locate a piece of information. I only got the meaning from google >:))) But still, I understand it ;)

I find this activity a little hard because I was pressured that time and I was like panic here, panic there -_- XD With so much pressure, I wasn't able to answer all the questions :/ Good thing I still got 9 over 15. (Hmmm.. not bad, but I didn't pass :(( That's not a good thing -,-)

• What are the strengths and weaknesses of this work?

The strength of this work is that I was able to understand the topic well. The weaknesses are: I wasn't able to finish answering, I wasn't able to get a passing score T_T

• What would you work on more if you have additional time?

I will practice skimming and scanning at home, or maybe sometimes at school when I'm doing things with rush.

Multiple Intelligence

So we had this presentation about our own multiple intelligence and grouped according to our multiple intelligence. Andd... I am an Intrapersonal person ^^ Yea, that's true :)))) I sometimes like to work on my own, like to be alone and blabla forever alone -_- Just kidding ^^ But.. I know I can't live by myself because "No man is an Island" :D

We had this task  to make a collage about the good qualities and positive attitudes of our section. The picture shown below is the collage that we have made.

Cute huh? ^^ We made it with efforts and teamwork. We presented it like reporting procedure and we first made an intro ;)) I don't wanna call it "energizer" because it didn't really energize them- the audience/ our classmates. I find our presentation boring because we were just like reporting a lesson but.. I know next time it will improve ;)))

Volleyball ;))))

July 17-19, 2013---- We had our intramurals. Hmmm, it was quite fun because we had the time to watch different games and it was also kinda boring because if one of our teacher is not a coach, then we will stay in our classroom and go back to a regular class -,- Nevertheless, it's ok.. I had fun.. :))

We watched volleyball- happy and proud 'coz our year level won and one of our classmate was a player of the game ;) I remembered the cheers of my classmates... Nah! I already forgot it XD But I remembered their cheer reply to the grade 8.. "Walang sophomore! Grade8 lang!" HAHAHA. Their right, right? Because sophomore this year is already grade8 because of the K12 thingy ^^

Going back to the topic, the volleyball- I know they won because of their teamwork. They almost hit all the serve of the opponent. :)) They're really good. I know I can't do that 'coz I'm not the kind of person who is sporty. They have a good game because they showed sportsmanship. They had a good plan on how to win the game :D Hope it will not be the last for us to be a Champion! ;""")

4 letters, 1 word. A simple word with big meaning. But what does goal mean?

Goal is a dream with a deadline. (according to google) For me? A goal is a dream that came true. It's a dream that you plan and give time to make it happen.

My goal setting for this first grading period is to have a grade that I deserve. I don't expect a high grade because I'm not that active in class and I hope I will not get a low grade because I know to myself that even though I'm not that active, I still pass requirements, pass quizzes and tests.

Set Goal + Make Plans + Do Actions + Stick to It = Reach Goal! ^____^

That will be my guide to achieve my goal for this grading period. Set goal- I'll think of a good grade that will fit my performance. Make plans- I'll list the things that I will do to have a good grade. Do actions- I'll do the things I listed. Stick to it- I'll focus on what I'm doing. And if I can make all that things... Tadahh! I will reach my goal. Looks hard but I will do what I can do. ;))

Ehem ehem.. Hi! I'm Kristelle Anne Cuevas, Kristelle for short :D I'm the daughter of Mrs. Rufina Cuevas & Mr. Edgardo Cuevas Jr. I was born on the 21st day of December, 1998. The date looks familiar huh? well, they said that December 21, 2012 is the day when the world will end -.- but look? It didn't happen. I'm still alive ^_^ XD

I may describe myself as responsible to the way that I can do right things (sometimes.) I'm smart (not intelligent), kind, weird and generous. Others say I'm crazy? :o I'm a hardworking student 'coz if I'm not, I may not be a third year student right now :)) I also have negative attitudes 'coz I'm not perfect. I'm a short-tempered, sometimes a selfish person 'coz not all things should be shared, like food ^__^ Just kiddin' XD Sometimes, I'm moody, I easily get irritated to people around me.

There are many things that I like to do, especially when I'm bored. I like to sing.. in the bathroom >:)) like to play with my face in front of the mirror :D like to wrestle my 'lil sister XD like to eat sweet foods ^_^ I love to listen to music, love to take pictures of mine :)) I like to daydream and to picture things in my mind.
